Granville Town Centre Upgrade

The South Street Granville project was completed in four stages. Stages 2, 3A, 3B & 3C were completed to follow the federally funded William Street Upgrade Project. South Street was transformed into a modern shopping hub. Works included; the refurbishment of pedestrian walkways, an upgrade of street lighting, road works, local drainage and stormwater upgrade, landscaped median islands, kerb and gutter, round a bouts, raised pedestrian thresholds and road pavement restoration.

With the high flow of pedestrian and vehicle traffic, Statewide Civil was required to carefully plan and program the works to be completed with minimal disruption to pedestrians, vehicular traffic and local businesses. South Street was constructed with both day and night works.
