Good and Bridge Street Granville Streetscape Upgrade

Statewide Civil are thrilled to have had the opportunity to work with Parramatta City Council to upgrade the streetscape on Good and Bridge Street in Granville.

The scope of works included:

• Demolition of part of the existing road including kerb, drainage pits, footpath, timber power poles/street lighting and associated services.

• Undergrounding of existing services including overhead power lines.

• Construction of a new roundabout at the intersection of Good and Bridge Streets and adjustment of the existing roundabout at the intersection of Good and Cowper Streets.

• Construction of a raised pedestrian crossing, kerb and gutter, paving, kerb ramps, road pavement and drainage infrastructure.

• Installation of line marking, heritage interpretation signage panels, vertical totems, plaques, mature trees with understory planting, hydraulics/irrigation services such as misting systems, street furniture including seating, picnic table settings, bollards, and fencing.

• Installation of ‘smart’ street elements including solar self-compacting bins, multi-function light poles and catenary lights.
