Statewide Civil undertook the reconstruction of Bunnerong Rd, Matraville, which leads to the picturesque La Perouse loop. A main road, and major thoroughfare for transport in the area, organisation of the construction work proved to be a challenging task.

With over 5 kilometres of kerb and gutter construction, installation of approximately 1130Lm of drainage, including 330Lm of 1650Ø RCP stormwater pipes and culverts beneath the existing roadway, 50 drainage pits, 2900m² of footpath, 6000m² of cycleway, and over 11,000m² of landscaping, this was at the time the largest project Statewide Civil was constructing.
