Lighthouse Project Group on behalf of The Northern Metropolitan Cemeteries Land Manager (NMCLM) have awarded Statewide Civil the project to undertake the expansion and beautification of multiple areas under their authority.

These particular works included the expansion of the Jewish lawn at Macquarie Park Cemetery involving remediation bulk earthworks, stormwater drainage installation, construction of concrete roadway and footpaths, stairs, access ramps and retaining walls, new concrete monument beams for future utilisation, as well as landscaping and furniture installation.

This project also involved the construction of a pedestrian access ramp in the Armenian burial section. The ramp is for pedestrian access to the upper burial spots that is currently divided by a swale and two-tiered stone retaining wall. The works included modification of existing stone retaining walls, construction of concrete ramp including handrails and landscaping works.

Works were completed in June 2020.
