Auburn Town Centre Upgrade

We are pleased to announce that the revitalisation of the Auburn Town Centre will commence on 21 January 2013 and weather permitting take approximately 14 months to complete.

The upgrade includes widening and improving footpaths, new paving, outdoor dining structures, street lighting/multi-function poles, improved traffic arrangements, new furniture, trees and landscaping.

The project will build on an already unique character and create a strong and clear identity, reinforcing the importance of the town centre to the Auburn Local Government Area.

The upgrade will ensure the Auburn Town Centre continues to be a thriving community hub well into the future and provides long-term benefits for residents, visitors, retailers and property owners.

A recent fly-over captured great HD aerial imagery of Auburn. The second image attached was taken less than 2 weeks ago (Saturday 8 Feb 2014).
This illustrates just how much the Town Centre 5-ways and surrounds has transformed over the past 14 months.

The upgrade of the Auburn Town Centre was completed for Auburn City Council in July 2014.
